23. Jack Pearce

Melbourne born and bred, Jack went to Melbourne Junior School then Chellaston and played rugby at school. He began with Melbourne M&Js because his father Keith knew Crawford Fisher.

From the age of 16 Jack played Rugby League for Derby, continuing for three to four years and played for England Under18s. Eventually bored with League he returned to Union and back to playing for Melbourne.

After school Jack went to Broomfield College to do a one year Horticulture course, and then worked for Paul Bignall’s landscaping business for eight and a half years.

Aged 21 Jack took a month out to travel to America with old school friends on a road trip from San Francisco, through Monterey, and Los Angeles to Las Vegas. From there they flew to Miami, down to Key West, back to Miami, Orlando, then home.

In April 2021 Jack set up his own landscaping business - Pearce Landscapes - and business thriving, has taken on an apprentice.
