11. Jules Raine

Jules Raine

Born and brought up in Melbourne and schooled locally. Jules started rugby in Melbourne M&Js from 6 years old and played at school.

On leaving school Jules worked in Jack’s (Now Meak’s) as a barrista. A four week trip to America in 2015 led to eight months out there in 2016 working as a surfing instructor, running surfing trips for Church group kids on their holidays in San Clemente, Orange County. On his return he worked for Luke Sherriff in Men’s skincare until August 2019. This was followed by a spell as a Motivational Speaker in schools until Covid put an end to that line of employment.

Jules then worked at Somerfield Nurseries at Catton Hall, but has now started his own business Green Empire Gardens.

Taking a break from playing rugby Jules is heavily involved in the Social side of the Club, looking after the Social Media/Instagram side of things and providing updates during the first team games. He is on the Social Committee with Ollie Page and Roy Briscoe.
