Melbourne scored a bonus point win against Ilkeston, with the Livesey brothers bagging 3 between them. A good defensive display from both sides throughout the game.

On to the other ties

Both Pete and Matt got Matlock and Market Rasen wrong, with both going for home wins.
Matlock 19 - 26 Lincoln - Lincoln picking up a valuable away win and a bonus point to go with it.
Market Rasen 22 - 38 Long Eaton - Bonus points for both sides and Long Eaton moving up to 2nd in the table.

We both got the Asbourne game correct and there was another high scoring game at Ashbourne with Ashbourne winning 42-34. Try bonus points for boths sides.

Now the games we differed on.
Loughborough finally won on the road with a 34-7 win at Southwell. Matt predicting this one corrrectly. Pete's optimism of a Southwell recovery mis-guided.
Newark edged the game v Dronfield 19-10 with Pete predicting this one and a tight game as we both thought it would be.

That sees Melbourne 15 points clear of Long Eaton with Southwell well adrift at the bottom. The middle part of the table remains tight with 8 points separating 2nd-9th.
