We are excited to announce that Dave Porter will be taking up the Role as MRFC's Sponsorship Activities Manager reporting to the club's directors. We welcome Dave to his new position and would ask you all to give him your full support in his new role of generating much needed sponsorship funding, as befits our Midlands 1 status.

Dave and his sponsorship group have been instrumental in generating a new sponsorship process for the club - including an excellent marketing brochure - and has worked with the directors to develop a sponsorship pricing structure covering a whole range of opportunities, from individual player sponsorship to major corporate club sponsorship.

Acting as the single point of contact for all club sponsorship activities Dave will coordinate our sponsorship programme, but he will also need all of our support in identifying potential sponsors. To support Dave we have a sponsorship group in place but we encourage you all to be proactive in making contact with any potential sponsors whether it be to gain individual player sponsorship or recognising an opportunity to bring a major club sponsor on board.

Dave has made a great start in his role as Sponsorship Activities Manager bringing on board a valuable new club sponsor, and is currently working hard retaining last season's sponsors, whilst actively seeking out new opportunities.
