Melbourne Academy kicked off their 2023/24 season at the Newark 10s festival on 27th August.
We had great numbers at pre-season this year, as such we were able to field 2 full sides, the only club able to do that.
For some U16s it was their first taste of Academy Rugby and they all rose to the occasion which some spirited play.
The established U18s and U17s led the way with a disciplined and planned performance. The benefit of pre-season pulled the team together.
