3rd out of 10 for the U13 Minxes

The U13 Minxes headed to Long Eaton for the NLD 10s event to find that not only were the sides in the NLD invited but almost anyone within a 2 hour drive too. This lead to 10 sides being entered but the coaches were not too worried as many of our girls are seasoned veterans by now. Many of our girls come through the Mini Minxes and were tested last season against girls 2 years older than them and some of them the size of coach Nick.

The games started well and the girls soon got in the swing of things, even those who had camped out the night before as part of the Minxes team building weekend. There was some great hands on display, great tackling and most of all and by far the important that attitude that the Minxes are known for - never give up, never stop trying and have some fun.

Due to the confusion in getting the event going the girls did leave before the end of the day, we did leave 2 hours after it was meant to have finished, but the coaches were proud to have been informed that our girls came 3rd overall.
