Growing in numbers and in confidence

The Mini Minxes are, once again, showing that girls really do play rugby and they don't need the boys to do it. Our girls are lucky to have the support of Gina and Nick who have done all that they can to offer girls a different pathway and their reward has come early this season. 3 weeks in and the 1st fixture against Mansfield as our girls travelled with the rest of the section to Long Eaton and even with a depleted squad we still managed to out number Mansfield.

To see our girls running around, playing some beautiful rugby and having smiles as wide as a full size pitch was a great advert for the club and the team. The games were played in a good manner with the scores being ignored as the development of the girls is the highest priority so that they can become U13 Minxes, U15 Minxes and maybe one day our Ladies too.
