Many thanks to all involved.

Yet again the Rugby Club, following on from the tradition established by Rotary Club, dusted off Santa’s sleigh in December and have again been collecting for local charities.

The Rugby Club , led by Gary Lakin and other senior players, and ably assisted by Melbourne Minis and Juniors rugby, toured Melbourne and local villages over 5 nights . They raised a staggering £1827 and the Directors of the Rugby Club have agreed that the monies should all go to local charities . Donations of £609 have been made to Melbourne Senior Citizens Centre, Melbourne Sporting Partnership and the Stroke Unit at Derby Hospital who provided wonderful care for Jack Radley, one of Melbourne Rugby keenest supporters. Well done guys!
