Melbourne travelled to Southwell and came away with a 9 Try bonus point win 59-10.

Onto the other games.

We both got the Newark v Matlock wrong and Matlock came away with a bonus point away win to stretch the gap between them and the bottom two.

We got 2 games right
Loughborough beat Ashby on a wet Friday night game 20-12.
Ilkeston continued their recent good form with a 19-17 over Lincoln.

We differed on the other two games and Matt (predicting first), got them both wrong.

Dronfield beat Long Eaton 33-26 in the 2nd v 3rd battle. try bonus points for both sides and Long Eaton picked up a losing bonus point too.

So how does this all affect the table??

Melbourne are in the play off at least as they can finish no lower than 2nd. A win in 2 weeks will secure the title as they are 17 clear and only 20 maximum points available.
The play off spot looks like a batle between Dronfield and Long Eaton, though Ashbourne and Loughborough could make a late surge, but there is a lt of ground to make up.
Long Eaton are 4 points adrift of Dronfield and will be looking at the last round of fixtures where Melbourne travel to Dronfield.
At the bottom it is nearly all over for Southwell and Ashby. Matlock's win at Newark has opened up a 17 point gap which is surely unassailable?
