This week sees Long Eaton come to Melbourne in a 1st v 2nd encounter. Should be a tasty affair between the close neighbours

Pete is currently 3 up

With the weather having turned a little, conditions may play a part this weekend but who knows in this league with 2nd-9th as tight as usual. Mud lovers get ready.

Ashbourne v Ilkeston
Ilkeston's table position is not a true reflection of the side who have strength, size and skill yet they are struggling to win games. Ashbourne are still unbeaten at home this season and that will likely remain especially as they love nothing more than damp wet knee deep mud. All points to a home win for Pete and Matt here.

Ashby v Dronfield
Dronfield currently performing well with recent wins over Matlock and Ashbourne they should have too much for Ashby. Although that said the home side do like the odd shock result but again both Pete and Matt predict an Away win.

Matlock v Loughborough
Interesting. Both sides mid table and Matlock have had a real dip in form. Loughborough climbing the table. Pete prediciting a rare away win. Matt thinks this will be a tight affair possibly a draw once again. In the interests of gaining a point back Matt backs the home team to deliver a close win or draw!

Newark v Lincoln
Lincoln were a good side 2 weeks ago when Melbourne played them and they also beat Newark at home early season. Newark have lost their way a bit. Pete and Matt both agreeing for the Lincoln double and a Lincoln win.

Southwell v Market Rasen
Southwell still rock bottom. But they beat Long Eaton and have run some sides very close. Rasen's form is patchy on the road, but it is only a shortish journey so a Market Rasen. Pete predicts an away win - Matt backing an underdog and hoping Southwell throw a wild card his way - only joking he is pipping Rasen.

So we just differ on the Matlock v Loughborough
