The green&gold have secured two excellent new additions for the senior squad, with the signing of front rower James Squires (formerly of Hinckley RFC ) and versatile back Oli Saffell (formerly of Derby RFC).

We look forward to the added competition for places in what is a very strong senior squad. Both players are looking forward to making their mark and bringing their experience and qualities to the fore having both played in the National Leagues.

It comes at a time when the senior squad needs a boost having performed well in the first half of the season. Extra competition means no one can be complacent, especially true with the welcome news that Chris "Beefy" Rudkin and Joe Stuart are also both now fit having recovered from injury.
